One of the biggest concerns we hear about filler is, “I don’t want to look overfilled.” We agree.
Good filler should work with your features rather than compete with them. Sometimes that means restoring volume that has been lost with age. Sometimes it means adding a small amount of volume to improve shape or balance. And sometimes the best recommendation is not filler at all.
During your consultation, we’ll look at your face as a whole and talk about what you want to improve before recommending where—or whether—filler makes sense.
Lip Filler
Lip filler can add fullness, improve shape and definition, balance unevenness or restore volume that has decreased over time. It does not have to mean dramatically larger lips.
Some patients want a noticeable enhancement, while others want a very subtle change. We customize the amount and placement based on your natural lip shape, facial proportions and the result you want.
Facial Filler
As we age, the face naturally changes. Cheeks can look flatter, the under-eye area can appear more hollow, folds around the mouth may become more noticeable and the jawline or chin may lose some definition.
Filler can restore support in selected areas and improve facial balance. Depending on your needs, we may use filler in the cheeks, chin, jawline, temples, under-eye area, around the mouth or other areas where subtle volume can make a meaningful difference.

What to Expect During Filler Treatment
We start with a consultation to talk about your goals and look at the areas you want to improve. Depending on the treatment area, we may use numbing cream or additional numbing to help keep you comfortable.
The full appointment generally takes about 60–90 minutes, including consultation, preparation and treatment. You will see volume right away, although swelling can temporarily make the area look fuller before it settles.
Downtime & Recovery
Filler requires minimal downtime for most people, but swelling, redness, tenderness and bruising can happen after injections. Lip filler in particular can look more swollen during the first few days.
Most swelling improves over several days. We’ll give you aftercare instructions and generally recommend avoiding strenuous activity for the first 24 hours.
If you have an important event coming up, give yourself enough time for any swelling or bruising to resolve rather than scheduling filler immediately beforehand.
How Long Does Filler Last?
Filler results are immediate and typically last about 6–15 months, depending on the type of filler used, the area treated and the individual.
Areas of the face move differently and filler products are selected for different purposes, so there is not one timeline that applies to every treatment. We’ll explain what you can reasonably expect based on the area you are treating.

Our goal is the opposite. We focus on natural-looking volume and facial balance. The amount of filler used is based on your features and goals—not on trying to create the same look for every patient.
That depends on the area, your starting point and the result you want. Some changes require only a small amount, while restoring volume across several areas may take a more gradual approach.
We use numbing options based on the area being treated, and many filler products also contain numbing medication. You may feel pressure or brief discomfort during injections, but we take steps to keep treatment as comfortable as possible.
You will see a change immediately, but swelling can affect how the area looks at first. Your result becomes easier to judge once that swelling settles.
Not exactly. Traditional filler is used to add or restore volume directly. Radiesse and Sculptra have their own dedicated treatment page because they work differently and are often chosen when the goal is gradual collagen support and rejuvenation over time.
