Flawless Skin Starts Here

Lumecca IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is an incredibly effective skin treatment designed to improve the appearance of multiple skin conditions, including sun damage, age spots, redness, and improvement in overall skin tone. The procedure uses high-intensity light pulses to target pigmentation and vascular lesions in the skin, resulting in a beautiful, glowing complexion.

During a Lumecca treatment, a handheld device emits broad-spectrum light that penetrates the skin, heating the targeted areas and stimulating collagen production. This process helps to reduce discoloration, improve skin texture, and minimize fine lines.

Lumecca is known for its quick treatment times and minimal downtime, making it convenient for those looking to enhance their skin’s appearance with long-lasting results. Many patients notice improvements after just one session, but a series of treatments may be recommended for optimal results.

What Areas Can Be Treated?

Lumecca can be used on all areas of the body. The most common areas of treatment are zones that are regularly exposed to the sun. This often includes the face, neck, décolletage, legs, hands, and arms.

How Many Sessions are Needed?

The number of sessions needed depends on your skin condition and desired outcome, but most patients notice improvements after one or two treatments. Multiple sessions provide even better results.

How Long Does the Treatment Take?

The procedure itself takes about 45 – 60 minutes.

What Is the Treatment Process?

During treatment, there will be a bright flash of light from the Lumecca that feels like a light elastic sensation. Redness and a slight warming of the skin are normal after treatment and usually subside within an hour. Over the next 7-10 days, you may see a darkening of pigmented spots; in the week afterwards, the pigmented lesions flake off, leading to an evening out of skin tone. You may use cosmetics/make up immediately after treatment. After treating vascular lesions, you may see the vein blanch and disappear or a color change in the vessel which dissipates after a few days.

What are the side effects?

Most patients don’t experience any side effects, but you might experience mild redness, swelling, or tenderness in the hours after treatment. You should avoid direct sunlight and tanning for 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after your treatment.

When Will I See Results?

You might see results for sun damage and skin tone a few days after treatment, but the most obvious effects are usually visible in 1-2 weeks.

How Long Do the Results Last?

Results can last for several months or even years, but you should maintain a proper skincare routine and protect your skin from the sun to prolong the benefits.

Can I combine Lumecca with other treatments?

Yes, Lumecca can be combined with other skin treatments, such as chemical peels, microneedling, botox, and filler.

Before your Lumecca treatment, you should avoid:

✓ Excessive sun exposure or tanning for at least one month
